POSITION INFO:
Primary purpose of the job To carry prime responsibility\/accountability for managing the Press\/Assembly Part Manufacturing in all its facets, including the infrastructure to support the process, to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled through cost effective resource utilisation, schedules and quality. Manufacturing process Report writing and presentation skills Planning and organising Production planning process Quality specifications and systems Discipline and grievance procedure Strong leadership and decision-making skills Technical understanding of automation regarding presses and assembly cells Developing, Implementing and Controlling KPI’s Problem-solving and analytical thinking Communication and team engagement High attention to detail and quality focus Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Minimum Requirements Degree in Production or Operations management Lean Manufacturing Principles Computer Literacy focus on MS Excel IATF 16949 Std Management principles Leadership principles Total Quality Management Quality Core Tools Supply Chain principles Measurement Analysis 5+ years’ experience in automotive manufacturing 5+ Years’ experience in a management role related to automotive manufacturing Strong knowledge of automated production systems and robotics. Quality specifications and systems Lean Manufacturing principles
