Professional Accountant

Job & Company Description:

Fast growing Financial Services Firm seeks a Professional Accountant (SA) with 1 - 2 years post qualification experience to join their dynamic high-growth organisation as a Fund Accountant. Offices based in Cape Town (hybrid model).

You will be involved in all aspects of fund accounting, including income and bank reconciliations, proactive cash forecasting, waterfall calculations and drawdowns, compliance oversight and assisting with investor and statutory reporting. You’ll be a key part of ensuring that deals are funded, tracked and reported properly, helping to run the engine room of the organisation’s main deliverables. You can learn from numerous ad-hoc tasks as well, so you must be a genuinely self-motivated and keen learner to benefit from the many available opportunities for growth.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Eligible/Registered Professional Accountant (SA) or AGA(SA) preferred
Completed 3 years of SAIPA or SAICA articles
1-2 years post articles experience
Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
Familiarity with investments
