SUMMARY:
Company based in Polokwane seeks to appoint an experienced Architect to be part of the technical team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

NQF Level 7 Tertiary qualification as an Architect / Architectural Technologist
Registered with SACAP

Requirements and skills:

Be creative and have at least 3 years working experience
String architectural work portfolio to prove artistic skills
Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with architectural design software
Strong imagination and the ability to think and create three dimensions for better presentation
Experience in project management

Responsibilities:

Planning, design, implementation and monitoring of the construction projects until completion
Attend clients brief and prepare project specifications and project proposals
Conduct feasibility studies, plan, control and achieve projects deliverables from initiation stage until completion
Creation of site development plans (SDPs)
Prepare high quality, innovative and functional architectural detailed designs which are fully compliant with the clients requirements and statutory regulations
Preparation, presentation and submission of Site Development Plans and detailed designs for construction purposes
Keep all projects within budgets and timelines
Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standard, building codes, guidelines and regulation
Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project
Cooperate and liaise with other construction professionals and coordinate all their work for successful planning, execution and completion of the projects
