Professional Structural Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client seeks to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer/Technologist to be responsible for planning, design, monitoring and reporting of related infrastructure projects.

The candidate should be enthusiastic, customer focused and willing to put extra effort into ensuring successful completion of the projects that they are responsible for.

POSITION INFO:
QUALIFICATIONS

• BEng, BSC or B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering.

• Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.
• Atleast 2 years' working experience post registration
• Be creative and have at least a minimum of 3 years’ working experience in design.
• Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards and ability to effectively advice clients where required.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Report writing skills.

• Attending client’s projects brief and assist with preparation of project specifications.
• Assist with preparation of Feasibility Studies and Technical Reports.
• Prepare designs and drawings.
• Liaise with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Arrange all required projects meetings and prepare minutes and progress reports.
• Monitor and advice contractors and Resident Engineers on site.
