A telecoms giant is seeking an experienced Project/Programme Manager to lead complex initiatives around integrating and customizing of complex business systems. As Programme Manager you will also be responsible to help train teams on the agile methodology and oversee the development of agile teams to ensure effective outcomes for the organization. Additionally, you will partner with business and technical teams to quickly and efficiently launch new features and enhancements using an agile approach.

In this role you will coordinate cross-team and cross-project activities and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives including the overall coordination, implementation, execution, reporting and completion of several underlying and interconnected projects. In this regard, the ability / track record in managing multiple projects on the go is crucial.

Minimum requirements include but are not limited to the following:

• A degree or national diploma in computer science, information systems or a related field.
• A Project Management qualification such as PMP/Prince/Agile certification with suitable experience in implementing is strongly preferred.
• At least 5 – 7 years’ experience as a Project/ Programme Manager within a technical setting for business applications.
• 5 – 7 years’ managing project teams on medium sized and complex engagements simultaneously
• Experience working on projects within Telecoms / Banking sector (non negotiable)
• Working knowledge of program management, analysis, and reporting tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
• Solid understanding of software development models including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, reporting and budgeting skills.
• Ability to interact and build consensus with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, across all levels of stakeholders.
• Strategic, solution focused mind-set
• Agile/ Waterfall/ Scrum methodology experience
• Strong analytical, reporting and budgeting skills.
