Programme Manager – Retail & FMCG | Strategic IT & Business Transformation - 12-24 month contract

Our client is a dynamic, cash-based omni-channel retailer delivering fashion-value offerings across apparel, homeware, sportswear, financial services, and telecoms.
As they accelerate their digital and IT modernization journey, they’re seeking a seasoned Programme Manager to lead transformative initiatives across customer-facing and operational domains.

🌟What You’ll Lead
You’ll oversee a portfolio of high-impact IT and business projects, guiding a team of Senior and Junior Project Managers through three core workstreams:

• Point of Sale (POS) Systems Implementation
• Financial Services Expansion (call centres, cellular, credit)
• Customer Management Enhancements

• A strategic leader with 10+ years’ experience in Project Management, including proven success as a Programme Manager in Retail and FMCG environments.
• Adept at steering large-scale, complex programmes with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, including direct liaison with CEOs, CFOs, and other C-level executives.
• A visionary with a passion for digital transformation, customer experience, and operational excellence.
• PMBOK or equivalent PM certification is beneficial, but not mandatory.

• Develop and govern programme strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee planning, execution, and integration of POS, financial services, and customer management initiatives.
• Manage budgets, risks, and vendor relationships across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure seamless coordination, stakeholder alignment, and benefits realization.
• Deliver executive-level reporting and drive continuous improvement through post-project reviews.
