Programme Manager

POSITION INFO:

Location: All Regions

Main Purpose:

To manage, plan, and oversee the delivery of designated priority programmes and projects, ensuring the achievement of defined outcomes and deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Degree in Engineering or Construction or equivalent built environment discipline.
  
• Experience in strategy development and implementation is a key required.
• 10 – 12 years’ experience in a Project Management role. A minimum of 5 years of this experience must be at management level.
• Registration as a Construction Project Manager or other recognised equivalent professional accreditation.
• Insight into the IGR environment and government planning framework and infrastructure deliveries.
• Experience in strategy development and implementation is a key requirement.
• Experience in housing construction and /or infrastructure-based project management.
• Experience in the delivery and project management of low income/affordable housing project is preferable.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively and must have valid driver’s licence.
• Computer literacy.
• Knowledge, insight, and experience of the public sector human settlements and built environment development.
• Knowledge of legislation and policies regulating the human settlement sector and the built environment.
