SUMMARY:
Our Client in the financial services seek a Project Accountant - CA (SA), to provide support to the IFRS 17 Finance team with regard to the IFRS 17 implementation and assist with ancillary technical finance and reporting requirements for a 8-12 months contract with possibility of an extension

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Specific IFRS 17 investigations and solutions;
Design/implementation of finance process and controls;
Management and financial reporting, and
Perform other financial reporting tasks and projects as identified.

Experience & Qualification

Chartered Accountant (SA) with experience
At least 8 - 10 years post article experience in a reporting environment;
Insurance industry experience advantageous.
