SUMMARY:
Engineering construction concern has an opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in Project Accounting. Buildsmart experience essential.

POSITION INFO:
The role is to develop and maintain all necessary financial controls, systems and processes to ensure the efficient and effective management of project finances and compliance to statutory requirements.
Manage relationships with BU Personnel, stores, customers and suppliers
Responsible for accounts payable and working with engineers, as well as arranging payments, recons, etc.
General Ledger Transactions
Trial Balance
Fixed Assets and asset management
Assist Engineers with quotations on Buildsmart
Working with ROE and CPA charge backs
Debtors and Debtors retentions
Project Cost Management and Contract control
General Financial and admin support
Cost effectiveness
Project budgets
Business Unit Profitability
BCom degree / National diploma in Cost & Management Accounting
2 to 3 years as a Project Accountant / Accountant
Buildsmart essential
