POSITION INFO:

3-year BCom Degree /National Diploma in Cost and Management
2 - 3 yearsâ€™ experience in Financial/Renewable/Construction Environment
2 - 3 years as a Project Accountant/Accountant is non-negotiable
Sound Financial knowledge
Project Management Knowledge
GAAP Principles
IFRS Standards
Understanding the project
Construction / Engineering / Energy / Manufacturing experience
BuildSmart experience (non-negotiable)
Office based: 08:00 â€“ 17:00, Monday â€“ Friday

Duties will include, but not limited to:

Ensure that stakeholders are well informed and to establish a free-flowing information
Ensure that supplier invoices are handled correctly and on time
Assess the validity, correctness or appropriateness of the account balance at a specific point in time and document account balances
Asset Management
Ensure timeously processed client invoices
Ensure Debtors make payment on time
Ensure that Standard Journals are captured and posted accurately
Ensure Contract Control is handled effectively and efficiently
Ensure project is managed according to best Financial principles to achieve best Business results
Ensure that the business is provided with a full Financial / Administrative support service
Communication to External Customers
Cost effectiveness
Ensure that Project Costs are managed correctly and effectively
Ensure profits are generated through the Projects
Business Unit Profitability
Performance Management
