SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in the Telecommunications industry, is looking for a Project Accountant SCM - Marketing for a 12 month contract position. R300 per hour

POSITION INFO:

The Project accountant assumes full responsibility of the financial project cycle and financial project management of all marketing campaigns.

Ensure that key business objectives of the Business Unit are met with regards to marketing expenditure forecasting, variance analysis and budget control. Manages the month end close process, publicity budget process and forecasting process for the marketing managing executive and team. Deliver detailed reporting for tracking of strategic objectives, expenditure (WBS/Internal order reports) by category and segment and key commercial initiatives to both the marketing team and Opex specialist within the team. Full understanding of the marketing cost drivers.

Minimum Requirements: Any/ (studying towards) accounting qualification with a minimum of Accounting1 completed at tertiary level is preferable.At least 3 to 5 yrs. experience in a finance environment
