Our Client a global tech firm is seeking a Project Administrator to join their team in Pretoria on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, excellent salary package as well as a great working environment. The contract will initially be for 4 months and renewed accordingly thereafter

Description

Our client requires a Project Administrator with 1-2 years experience in Project Administration. The Project Administrator requires experience in the Microsoft Office toolset - MS word, MS excel, MS Visio, MS Project.

Requirements

  • The Project Administrator will work in a professional and comfortable work environment where the
  • core focus is on learning, growth, knowledge sharing, teamwork and collaboration.
  • The Project Administrator is responsible for the project documentation on the project portal enabling stakeholders not involved in day to day activities of the projects to track events to current status.
  • The Project Administrator is expected to be aware of current inefficiencies in the project office based on their experiences with projects at Britehouse Digital and include these lessons learnt into the project office.
  • The Project Administrator is responsible for quality and relevance of all project communications including project deliverables generated from the project and product lifecycle.
  • The Project Administrator is expected to at all times know what the resources on their projects are doing and ensure that resources are performing the relevant project tasks a defined in their schedules.
  • The Project Administrator should understand their projects sufficiently to address any questions management may have with regards ongoing progress, consumption of resources throughout the project, project variables affecting success or failure.
  • The Project Administrator is responsible for taking and distributing minutes where requested in a timely fashion.
  • The Project Administrator is responsible for all administrative tasks as requested by the Projects Executive.
  • The Project Administrator must also be willing to do business travel to customer sites as per business requirements.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Customer Relations.
  • Documentation skills, i.e. the standard and quality of documents.
  • The ability to solve problems.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 360 review.
  • Exams as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required (not-negotiable):
  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Advantageous (nice to have):
  • A relevant university degree or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Required (not-negotiable):
  • Knowledge of Project Methodology.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office toolset - MS word, MS excel, MS Visio, MS Project
  • Adequate technical knowledge to be able to use expert judgement to verify schedule activity
  • duration estimates.
  • Knowledge of the solution and task breakdown to visually confirm with developers that the
  • tasks being performed are aligned to those in the project schedule.

EXPERIENCE

  • Required (not-negotiable):
  • Experience working as a Project Administrator for minimum 1 - 2 years.
  • A minimum of 3 years in an Administrative role.

SKILLS

  • Required (not-negotiable):
  • Be able to build strong relationships.
  • Be able to work in a team environment.
  • Be able to interact well with management and colleagues.
  • Be able to communicate excellently (written and verbal communication)
  • Be able to successfully adapt to changing demands and conditions.
  • Be able to take accurate minutes of meetings.
