SUMMARY:
A Financial Institute in the Centre of Pretoria has a contract position for Senior Project Administrators

POSITION INFO:

The expected Project Administration services for the Group, GSMD includes the below scope of work but will not be limited to
GSMD Portfolio comprising the of following four (4) Programmes managed by the
P3M Office;
Physical Security Programme
Cyber and Information Security Programme
Governance Risk Compliance Programme
Security Auxiliary Service Programme
These programmes are further divided into strategic projects, initiatives and operational programmes.
Co-ordination and support will be required in other departmental strategic projects, initiatives, operational programmes in which GSMD resources plays a security advisory role, and responsible to deliver security services and artefacts in relation to defined milestones.
Provide the following Project Administration services for the GSDM (Projects, Programmes and new Demands)
To assist in compiling and maintaining mandatory project documentation (for example
information relating to project charter, business case, project plan, change request) in
order to ensure project compliance in terms of Programme Management Office (PMO)
standards and procedures
To collate and manage project information and reports to ensure that relevant
stakeholders are adequately informed of project status
To liaise with various stakeholders (internal and external) throughout the project life
cycle in order to maintain effective communication on all matters relating to the project
To update and maintain the project schedule, highlighting deviations in order to ensure
that project timelines are adhered to and allow for planning adjustments
To maintain a project repository in order to ensure that project information is accessible
to all stakeholders and available for audit purposes
To schedule meetings, consolidate information for meetings, maintain and disseminate
minutes and ensure that actions are followed up as per the minutes
An Advanced Diploma in Project Management or an equivalent qualification;
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a project administration environment; and
- A solid knowledge of project management disciplines with an emphasis on project
administration.
