Our Financial Services client based in the Sandton area seeks a Project Business Analyst for 1 year Contract. Azure Platform experience would be an advantage

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities

• Identifying and articulating business needs, and evaluating and recommending viable solutions to meet these.
• Eliciting, analysing, documenting, validating and verifying requirements.
• Obtaining consensus and approval of requirements.
• Defining, designing and optimising processes ensuring they are fit for purpose, client centric, scalable, resilient and cost effective.
• Communicating requirements to ensure a common understanding across stakeholder groups.
• Ensuring the traceability of requirements and that changes to requirements are analysed, assessed, approved, communicated and managed throughout the life of the project.
• Evaluating that a solution meets requirements and the business need
• High level business case and solution design (including the Functional requirements Specification) for business-driven requirements within given standards
• Participate in the full SDLC depending on the scope of the initiative including post implementation activities. This includes the formulation of appropriate documents to present at the various forums and checkpoints

• Completed degree required
• 5 years of project Business Analyst work experience within a financial services involvement ideally with exposure to the credit and/or risk functions.
• Good knowledge of business analysis experience in financial services – across all levels of the business; across geographies; both IT and non IT related.
• Strong, objective facilitation skills to encourage collaboration, energise, and maintain participation in small and potentially large workshops with stakeholders of all levels
• Demonstrates communication skills both written and verbal using a variety of methods, the ability to get the message across and relative to the audience.
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Experience of working with Development teams
• Azure Certified with Azure Platform experience and the ability to troubleshoot through the technology stack will be advantageous
• Experience in Azure DevOps and supporting technologies (Git, Pipelines, etc.) will be advantageous
