JOB SUMMARY:
A vacancy for a Project Coordinator in the ESG department has become available in the Johannesburg office. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacancy. The candidate will report to SBU Partner in the ESG SBU.

Description

A Project Coordinator is an integral member of the SBU management team as they provide administrative support to project managers on an ongoing basis.

Experience and Skills

The candidate must have:

Minimum Matric / Grade 12.
An administrative degree or diploma.
At least 7-10 years experience in the office administration field.
Relevant experience in the consulting environment would be an advantage.
Work independently with minimum supervision.
Proven advanced MS Office knowledge (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
Excellent organisational skills, tact, diplomacy, and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in sensitive matters and display excellent judgment.
Be able to work in a team environment.
Knowledge of Ariba/M2North/SAP/PROMAN would advantageous.
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality System – compliance and auditing

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the SBU Project Coordinator (PROCO) in all relevant administrative and quality tasks.
Assist the cross-discipline Project Managers (PM) in the administrative and quality-related tasks
Assist the SBU with travel arrangements.
Will be required to assist with the formatting of certain documentation relevant to a project to the quality standards set by SRK.

Assistance to PM with SRK Project Management system (PROMAN).
Assistance to the SBU PROCO with aspects of invoicing/project financial administration.
Providing support to department Partner and Department Manager.
Act as the Departmental Quality (ISO9001) Administrator.
Attend the company Quality Administrators monthly meetings and feedback relevant information to the department.
Manage the quality control of the SBU projects to comply with SRK’s quality management system (ISO 9001).
Carry out regular and scheduled quality audits on activities performed by the departmental team.
Assist with training of staff in the department in aspects relating to quality.
Prepare, administer, and file project correspondence and records according to ISO 9001 standards.
