• Strong Microsoft Project experience – non-negotiable
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or business will be advantageous
• Project Management Certification
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
• Experience with Microsoft Project

You will be working in a dynamic, high-performance environment. My client is seeking to employ a tenacious and dynamic candidate with excellent people skills, who will take full responsibility for project managing all processes regarding New Product Development, Product Improvements, Line Extenders, Private Label Manufacturing, New Business Models, Raw Material Changes. You will act as a liaison between various business units to ensure that all approved projects are launched on time and within budget.

Duties:

• Liaison with various business units including Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Production, Channel Development, Logistics, Finance, Quality Assurance and agencies to ensure that each department adheres to prescribed timelines
• Attend monthly Supply Chain meeting to ensure that Research & Development trials are included in production planning
• Project Management of all NPDs (New Product Developments) by means of two-weekly project overview meetings with all departments involved, capturing project status and distributing to relevant stakeholders
• Be the single point of contact for all projects in terms of timelines, general queries & capacities
• Prioritisation of projects with relevant commercial team
• Establish basic processes for projects by using the Stage/Gate process
• Ensure efficient overall processed
•  Create project overview document, updated every 2 weeks (for project meeting) and monitor progress/updates on all projects
• Collection of data including artworks, ingredients, nutritional information, initiate all relevant product codes, Finished Product Specification, Master Packaging Specification, Costing & forecast volumes
• Create Ms Project timelines/status for all New Product Development and Private Label projects
• Management of Private Label (PL) Projects
• Close communication with agencies in terms of timelines for packaging design and delivery
• Report on project status to Germany (monthly)
