Who are we: A company specialised in the production and distribution of materials essential for various industrial applications.

Who are we looking for: An experienced project engineer

What will you do: 

The project engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements. Essential Functions: Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects. Functions include: 

•Generating proposals and reports
•Liaison with the different internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of project plans
•Complete technical surveys
•Managing and facilitating various projects
•Monitoring projects budgets, schedules, plans, and reporting on the project's status.
•Understanding of applicable procedures, policies, standards, and best practices in line with the company’s QMS system
•Compilation of technical reports / proposals
•Performing process capability studies
•Conduct time / work studies
•Facility layout and design
•Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
•Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
•Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
•Establishing field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.
•Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

What do you need: 
•Senior Certificate – Matric with maths (Not maths Lit)
•Diploma / Degree in Project engineering / Project Management / Industrial engineering
•Ability to read and understand technical drawings
•Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
•Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
•Attention to detail.
•2 -5 Years’ experience in a similar role
•Reliable transport
•Reliable, highly motivated, and confident attitude
•To be able to perform well under pressure, must possess a high stress tolerance
•Well organised
•Willing to work overtime when required
•Must be willing to carry out tasks outside of job description.
•Goal Orientated
•Must have excellent time management skills
