Project Engineer

POSITION INFO:

We are hiring for an experienced Project Engineer in Nelspruit. Duration 3 Months.

Scope of Work:

• Support the Boiler Engineer in managing all project-related tasks leading up to and during the Project.
• Become fully familiar with all Project requirements, technical details, and work packages during the period and ensure readiness for project execution.
• Ensure proper planning, contractor coordination and progress tracking.
• Perform on-site quality control (QC) and oversee contractor activities to ensure compliance with specifications, safety requirements, and project timelines.
• Assist with contractors, maintenance teams, and engineering personnel to ensure smooth execution of scope items.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Project Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in power plant, boiler, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of quality control requirements and contractor specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
