Project Engineer

SUMMARY:
Are you a skilled Project Engineer with a passion for delivering innovative engineering solutions in the mineral processing sector? Our client, a well-established OEM specialising in crushing, screening, and materials handling equipment, is seeking a proactive and experienced professional to join their project delivery team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the technical aspects of mineral processing equipment projects from concept through to commissioning.
• Develop and review project documentation, including specifications, designs, and technical reports.
• Interface with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, procurement, and site installation teams.
• Monitor project milestones, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
• Engage with clients to understand project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.

• BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within the mineral processing or heavy industrial equipment sectors.
• Strong understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and feeders.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and MS Project or similar planning tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
