POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Manage engineering projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning and design review to implementation and final handover Coordinate project activities and ensure deliverables are completed according to scope, budget, and schedule requirements Review engineering documentation and technical packages prior to execution Break projects into manageable work packages and oversee implementation activities Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective project execution Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams throughout project delivery Lead project meetings and communicate project progress to relevant stakeholders Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve project delivery processes and systems Support project administration, reporting, invoicing, and documentation requirements Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Engineering role Experience managing industrial engineering projects from concept through implementation Strong understanding of project planning, procurement, construction, and project execution principles Proven experience leading project teams and coordinating contractors and stakeholders Ability to review technical designs and engineering documentation Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously Qualification: BTech or BEng in Mechanical Engineering SAQCC Designer Category C certification is essential Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
