Project Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Project Engineer required for global automotive company based in East London.

Your role will include:

• Actively responsible for all aspects of projects
• Autonomously drive projects, looks for risks and mitigates them
• Actively communicates with the Engineering department, Project manager, VHL and KAM
• Continuous coordination of activities between sales, engineering and plant with the emphasis on change management and new part introduction
• Coordinate within all departments to ensure projects meet the objective set

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

• Completed Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Diploma/Degree
• Minimum of 3 years Automotive design/development experience
• Completed Project management training and minimum 3 years’ experience
• Trained in modern quality planning techniques
• Advanced PC skills
