JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a mineral processing company providing solutions for the recovery of ultra-fine minerals, operating in Projects and Engineering services, Operations Management and Process Equipment. Currently, they have an opportunity for a Project Engineer (Design / PLC programming) to join their projects team within the mining process industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of Role:

To design and program in multiple software languages and do the integration of control systems within mineral processing plants in the mining industry. Working in a project environment with various other disciplines in the mining industry.

Job Experience:

Min 3 – 5 years’ experience in Control Systems environment with experience in the mining industry
BEng / BTech / National Diploma / Electrical / Mechatronics

Skills Required:

Designing of Control Systems
Software programming
Fault finding and rectification of PLC’s.
Ensure all work meet quality standards according to drawings, manuals and standards with QCP and QC inspections
