JOB SUMMARY:
Calling all Project Engineers

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client a leading and well-known company based in Epping Industria, is looking for an experienced Project Engineer with experience in the Agricultural / Food manufacturing or Pharmaceutical / Chemical.

Requirements:

BTech, BEng, or BSC in Mechanical Engineering or an Equivalent Qualification as per the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
Project Management or commercial qualification would be advantageous.
5 years experience in project or process engineering, preferably in a pharmaceutical/ chemical or food manufacturing environment or similar industries.
Knowledge of cGMPs as applied in an FDA-controlled environment, preferred.

Responsibilities:

Develop, plan and co-ordinate engineering projects.
Apply project Life Cycle approaches and methodologies.
Generate and review project proposals, tenders and technical specifications.
Ensure sustained adherence to cGMPs, OHSE regulations and FDA requirements during design and implementation of project activities.
To control project expenditure within capex approvals and ensure project deliveries as per agreed schedules.
To generate capex costings for budget purposes and generating periodic project budget and progress reports.
Initiate and implement maintenance and continuous improvement projects.

Personal Attributes:

Must have ability to work under pressure and deadline requirements.
Demonstrated managerial, administrative, technical and financial control abilities and competence coupled with good coordinating and planning skills.
Good organizational skills
Able to work in a team and independently as and when required
Ability to priorities and multi task however must be systematic and analytical in reasoning.
Problem Solving and Leadership abilities
Must be criminal Clear.
Willing to relocate to the Western Cape
