Project HES Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Project HES Supervisor to join their team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Certification in HES or a related field (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
• Minimum 2 - 10 years of HES project supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

• Excellent leadership and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure project environments.

• Oversee HES compliance for specific projects, including risk assessments.
• Implement and monitor HES policies and practices on-site.
• Train project staff on HES protocols and emergency procedures.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate with project managers to align safety standards with project goals.
