Location: Johannesburg office and project sites
Contract: 6- 12-month contract

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale construction / Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects. Experience within electrical infrastructure, substations, renewable energy or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is preferred.
The successful candidate will coordinate project teams and stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed scope, programme, budget and quality requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities Manage project delivery from planning and mobilisation through execution, commissioning and handover. Develop and monitor project plans, budgets, milestones and resource requirements. Coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities. Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams. Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to address delays or cost overruns. Manage scope changes and maintain accurate project records and reporting. Oversee compliance with contractual, health and safety, quality and environmental requirements. Lead progress meetings and coordinate project close-out and handover documentation. Candidate requirements Relevant project management experience on large-scale construction \/ EPC projects. Experience within electrical, substation, renewable energy or BESS projects would be advantageous. Strong planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder coordination skills. Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and competing project priorities. Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Willingness to undertake site-based work and travel between the Johannesburg office and project locations.
