Project Manager â?? IT Infrastructure Services

We are recruiting a Project Manager to join our IT infrastructure services team on a permanent contract.

Your functions will include:
Transitioning and Project Management of business Information Systems.

 

 

Qualification Required:

• Degree or National Diploma in Information Systems.

Preferred Qualification:

• Certified Project Management Professional

Experience Required:

• More than 10 years of work experience in the IT industry.
• A minimum of 5 years of those as a Project Manager.
• Strong project scheduling, IT Services Transition Management, leadership, stakeholder management, financial literacy.
• IT Infrastructure Services technical experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Transition and Project Management of business Information Systems
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects 
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques 
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

• Strong Communicator (Verbal Written)
• Ability to build and maintain relationships (Internal External)
• Well organised and ability prioritize important tasks
• Focused and dedidicated individual

Work Environment:

• Office environment and customer premise visits

Physical Demands:

• No heavy physical demands, mainly office work

Travel:

• Minimal travelling, mainly customer premise visits.
