6-Month Feasibility Study | Gauteng

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the 6-month feasibility study from initiation through to final deliverables. Coordinate multidisciplinary technical, commercial, financial, transport and market assessment workstreams. Manage project scope, programme, deliverables, risks, dependencies and quality. Drive the development and consolidation of the business case and feasibility assessment . Coordinate the assessment of market demand, freight flows, logistics requirements and infrastructure needs. Facilitate stakeholder engagement with public-sector, private-sector, logistics, transport and infrastructure stakeholders. Manage project meetings, workshops, reporting and stakeholder communication. Identify and manage project risks, constraints and critical decision points. Ensure technical findings are integrated into a coherent and commercially viable project proposition. Support assessment of potential PPP and public-private partnership structures and implementation models. Prepare and present progress updates, strategic findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Master's degree in Infrastructure, Engineering, Transport, Logistics, Economics or a related field. Minimum 8 years' experience in infrastructure project preparation . Proven experience involving logistics hubs, inland ports, rail infrastructure or port developments . Demonstrable experience in business case development and project feasibility studies . Strong stakeholder engagement and multidisciplinary project coordination experience. Good knowledge of PPP \/ public-private partnership structures . Strong understanding of freight logistics systems, transport networks and intermodal infrastructure . Excellent project management, communication, reporting and problem-solving skills. Advantageous Experience on major public infrastructure or transport programmes. Exposure to infrastructure investment, project finance or project bankability assessments. Experience working across government, private-sector and institutional stakeholder environments. Professional project management or engineering registration would be advantageous.
