POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements:

• Mine Overseer Certificate of Competence (Required):
• Demonstrated expertise in overseeing mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing production efficiency.
• Mine Manager Certificate (Advantageous): Possession of a Mine Manager Certificate will be considered a significant asset.
• Project Management Certificate/Qualification (Required): Essential for effective planning, execution, and control of mining projects.
• Minimum 10 Years Underground Production Experience: Proven track record in underground mining with a focus on safety, productivity, and operational excellence.
• Preferably as a Mining Contractor: Experience in managing projects as a Mining Contractor will be highly valued.
• Ability to Carry a Legal Appointment: Demonstrated capability to hold a legal appointment in accordance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage underground mining projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Optimize production processes to achieve efficiency and meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team.

• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to carry a legal appointment in the mining sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Contract Details:

This position is contract-based.
