Project Manager

SUMMARY:
One of our Key clients has an opening for a Project Manager to join their Projects team within the water solutions industry. Must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree and be Registered with ECSA as a PrEng!

POSITION INFO:

POSITION : PROJECT MANAGER
AREA         : JOHANNESBURG/KZN BASED
SALARY     : R 1.2 - R1.4 MILLION CTC

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Project Manager provides leadership on assigned projects and acts to achieve financial, safety and client relationship objectives. They will also, dependent on project requirements and skillset, deliver technical project elements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST have a BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering ONLY!!!
• PrEng registration with ECSA is ESSSENTIAL
• PMP or PrCPM Project Management qualifications are advantageous
• Minimum 10 years’ experience executing project delivery
• Minimum 5 Years in a Project Management role
• MUST have water/waste water/water recovery experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages delivery of individual projects and holds primary responsibility for the achievement of cost, schedule and quality objectives.
• Oversees activities of Project Engineers, Construction Manager and Site Supervisors on assigned projects.
• Manages the delivery of design in conjunction with Design Managers.
• Manages the compliance approach of projects.
• Ensures achievement of safety objectives on assigned projects.
• Ensures achievement of corporate goals for assigned projects.
• Coordinates resources to achieve project goals.
• Manages client interaction on assigned projects and promotes positive relationships.
