Project Manager

SUMMARY:
We are currently in the process of recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to be based in Limpopo for a 12 Months contract. The candidate must have mining sector experience on Network / Infrastructure (Fibre/Cabling) and extensive knowledge of MS Project

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to lead project meetings and be quite tech savvy to build and manage project plans using MS Projects and or Smart sheet
• Build and manage the end-to-end project plan, and monitor/report progress.
• Effectively manage scope and dependencies.
• Identify risks and issues and proactively resolve/mitigate them.
• Ensure that the project is delivered to time, cost and quality
• Ensure that business outcomes are defined, approved, and delivered.
• Be responsible for benefits realisation, and ensure that benefits are delivered in the best way possible
• Support strong governance, aligned with the overall governance, and ensure that timely decisions are taken.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with project stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric - Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience (Postgraduate Preferred)
• 5 - 6 Years of experience in Project Management activities
• Project Management Qualification (PMP preferred)
• 7 or more years experience in Project Management with a PMI or Prince 2 or other PM certification.
• Strong supplier and people management skills
• Highly numerate, with strong financial management
• Highly proficient in MS Project
