SUMMARY:

Our client in the telecommunications sector requires a Business Project Manager

Key Requirements:

5+ years Project Management Experience
Financial Services (Banking, Mobile Money) background
Leadership Skills
Business Knowledge
Related Qualifications (PRINCE2, etc.)

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Create project plans and manage the implementation of assigned projects
Ensure the right internal and external resources are appropriately aligned and engaged in a timely way in all project management efforts relevant to the assigned projects
Project manage the implementation and rollout of assigned projects
Ensure that all projects meet the stated proposition and manage any actions/adjustments required.
Liaise with other stakeholders to ensure that the appropriate capacity, quality, and cost parameters are being sourced and delivered for use
Leading a project from gestation to termination using the client’s project methodology
Keeping track of the project using the Project Management tools
Following the project change implementation process to implement the project.
Ensure escalations are timed correctly and executed professionally.
Managing more than one project at a time
Integrate as part of the client’s Project Management Team
Working well with people that are under pressure.
Maintenance of PM knowledge repositories
Project reporting and project presentation
Keeping stakeholders abreast of the project progress, risks and issues
