SUMMARY:
A Company in Pretoria is looking for a Project Manager to meet the Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) strategic goals by developing, implementing, and managing ITO projects from planning and execution through closure.

POSITION INFO:
RESPONSIBILITIES

The scope will include but will not be limited to:

To define the project scope and Work Breakdown structure (WBS) in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of deliverables and the approach.
To produce project management plans to ensure that they are comprehensive including scope, quality, risks, time, cost, HR, procurement, integration, communication and to confirm that these knowledge areas are regularly updated and maintained.
To ensure that all project documentation, deliverables, and reports are produced, approved, and maintained timeously.
To identify and manage project risks, constraints, and changes; ensuring that the project plan is managed and approved.
To establish and manage relationships with all stakeholders, role players and service providers to ensure commitment to a common goal.
To establish and effectively manage a project team; clearly defining roles and responsibilities for the delivery of project outputs.
To direct and coordinate activities of project team members to ensure the project progresses according to the approved schedule, producing the expected deliverables, within budget and according to specification and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Matric Certificate
A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and/or Information and Communication Technology or an equivalent qualification (at NQF7 level).
A minimum of five to eight years’ experience in project management.
Sound knowledge of project management legislation, project cost management, and contract and service management.

The following will be an added advantage:

Certified Business Analyst Professional - CBAP (added advantage)
Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA): Project Management Institute – PMI (added advantage)
Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering - CPRE: International (added advantage)
Certified ScrumMaster – CSM (added advantage)

Co-ordination and program management skills to interface with various stakeholders.
Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal) – should be able to communicate with various levels in client organization at the same time.
Must be flexible to travel.
