Project Manager

A leading international online gambling operator has an exciting career opportunity for a Project Manager to join their team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that their projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. Your key job responsibilities as the Project Manager in Cape Town will include:

• Work with Head Analyst to collect, analyse and identify gaps from customer feedback throughout the customer journey and provide insights to the Marketing Department
• Work with Marketing to build strategy and create project road maps based on identified gaps in the customer journey
• Build relationships and manage third-party developers to effectively execute marketing strategies (promo pages, emailers, landing pages, competitions
• Serve as a link between the Group (operator) and Developers to work on the strategies identified through gaps
• Work with the Operations Leader to analyse the Group products in comparison to our competitors, identify gaps, and make recommendations to management (Ops & Marketing)
• Work with management to build the product strategy and project road maps based on identified gaps. Lead the projects from planning to execution
• Manage third-party relationships with software providers, to ensure project deliverables are continuously met on time
• Product champaign, build hype internally and externally about product launches and our current product portfolio
• Work closely with management (Ops & Marketing) to research and execute new products and payment methods
• Work with Operations Leader to effectively source, and manage payment providers
• Monitor and update all ongoing projects on the project management system

Requirements for this Project Manager job in Cape Town:

• Proven work experience in project management
• Solid experience in the sports betting, gambling, and casino industry are non-negotiable
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Proven ability to develop a product, marketing, and customer strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to management
• Experience with Project Management Software e.g. Jira, Asana
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation
• An understanding of coding and web development is advantageous
