Project Manager (Business Automation)

SUMMARY:
The Business Project Manager is to deliver business results by ensuring that project management best practices are being met. The successful incumbent will monitor teams to make sure the project goals and objectives are being kept.

POSITION INFO:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
• Commercially aware with understanding of Business Case to derive costs, benefits, and ROI
on proposed solution.
• Ability to work with and support the Programme Manager on large and heavy projects or
programme functions.
• Able to prioritize their own workload and be comfortable calling out scheduling conflicts.
• Ensures that project artefacts are produced and maintained per PM methodology.
• Actively identifies project risks and issues, recording correctly and working with the
Programme manager / self to prioritize and mitigate.
• Able to communicate with project stakeholders at all levels within the business.
• Carry out project initiatives using a standard project management package.
• Provide accurate and timely status reports on their ongoing project activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bcom degree / BBusSci (majoring in Eco, Man Sci, Info Sys.)
• PMBOK (CAPM / PMP) / Prince 2 Practitioner
• DevOps Exposure
• Project Planning Software (MS Projects / Smartsheets)
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MSTEAMS)
• Servant Leadership with a focus on Extreme Ownership
• Experienced in Waterfall and agile
• Stakeholder Management and able to adapt approach / style to different individuals and teams.
• Ability to facilitate online meetings / workshops to illicit required outcomes.
• Financial Services experience is ideal based on the positioning of the organization.
