Project Manager - Contract

Our Client a global tech firm is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Pretoria on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, exposure, Competitive rates and a great working environment.

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage other members of the team to ensure they stay focused on their work. You will oversee all aspects of the project from inception through implementation, including: estimating and planning; resource management; scheduling; monitoring progress towards completion dates and objectives; reporting progress and problems back to senior managers.

Requirements

• A business Project Manager specifically intended to achieve a business objective
• To manage the inception and implementation of capital investment projects within the controlled constraints of scope, time and budget while ensuring adherence to quality, legal and cost requirements and ensuring a basis for benefits realization is set.
• Work with other IT professionals, consultants and contractors to define, design, implement, or support the delivery of a project
• Define resources required to achieve the goals and develop risk mitigation strategies to address those risks and threats

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required
• NQF Level 7 or equivalent qualification in the field of Project Management
• Minimum of 6 years working experience in the field of Project Management
• The level of seniority (Strategic, Tactical and Operational)
• Experience with project management software and process improvement techniques are desirable
• Membership in good standing with a professional body in the field of project management (PMP) Project Management Professional
• Cobit®5 and ITIL Framework
