JOB SUMMARY:

An established international manufacturer of specialised agrochemicals is seeking the above to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of well-scoped territory product development projects, according to business strategies, standards, methodology, tools, and ways of working aimed at managing and reducing complexity and increasing innovation, effectiveness, efficiency, and excellence.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a BSc in Biology, Chemistry, or related field, or a BCom / MBA
Minimum 6 years’ work experience in a technical role within the agrochemical or relevant industry, including cross cultural/international experience will be required
2 years’ exposure to project management is essential
Working experience with Insect Control, Weed Control, Disease Control or Seedcare is an advantage
Must have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to details and technicalities, combined with ability to keep an overview and think broadly
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, SmartSheet, Qlik and/or SmartChoice (Planisware) will be ideal
Must be fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language will be an added advantage

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Driving project scope, plan, resourcing, risks/issues, reporting and delivery.
Securing and influencing effective stakeholder engagement, sponsorship, intervention, and approval.
Engaging and managing required teams of internal and external resources to meet time, cost, quality, and case targets.
Securing a smooth and effective handover to steady state operations.
Leading cross-functional teams to deliver territory product development projects.
Managing a portfolio of projects of a New AI.
Enabling decision making that is fact-based and focused on Value Over Investment (VOI).
Leading the AME Business Unit Project Teams to assemble complete, consistent, and reliable overviews and recommendations on projects in a form that serves review bodies such as the EAME Development Committee, R&D Functional Leadership Teams, or AME CP Portfolio Team in assessing projects.
Conducting formal technical reviews of progress at agreed stage gates in the Stage Plan.
Driving projects in accordance with the company standards, methodology, tools, and ways of working aimed at managing and reducing complexity and increasing innovation, effectiveness, efficiency, and excellence.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
