What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Heavy Industry Plant Construction sector. All duties would take place in this context.

*  Develop Work Breakdown Structure

*  Develop and Manage Project Plan

*  Project Risk Management

*  Project Budget Management

*  Liaise with Client

Key Job Deliverables:

*  Deliver Projects on Time

*  Deliver Projects within Budget

*  Deliver Projects according to Specification

Background work experience:

*  10 years Project Management of Heavy Industry Plant Construction (Internals)

*  5 years Large Scale Project Management using PMBOK

*  5 years Project Safety Management (SAMTRAC or Equivalent)

*  5 years Project Budget & Risk Management

*  Engineering Diploma + Project Management Professional or Equivalent

*  SAMTRAC Safety or Equivalent

*  Project Management using PMBOK

*  Project Management of Heavy Industry Projects such as Furnaces, Smelters, Casters, Rolling Mills etc...

*  Managing large scale heavy industry projects worth R 1 Billion+

*  Managing Project Safety according to SAMTRAC best practices

*  Managing Project Risk and Budgets to enquire timely and within budget delivery

*  Advantageous: Specific Experience in Furnace or Steel Plant Construction

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R1.5Mil to R2.3Mil per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
