SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Mechanical) to lead and deliver mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Plan, coordinate, and manage mechanical engineering projects across all phases.
Lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration between engineering, contractors, and stakeholders.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
Oversee mechanical design, installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and client updates.
Manage procurement, vendor selection, and contract administration.
Identify project risks and implement corrective actions where required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Project Management qualification (PMP / Pr Eng / Pr Tech / PMI or similar) advantageous.
5–10 years mechanical project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, mining, HVAC, construction, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installation processes, and engineering standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
