Project Manager - Water And Wastewater Process Engineering Equipment

SUMMARY:
A well-known International Process Equipment Company requires the above to Design and Build, Supply Contract Installations of Solid/Liquid Separation Equipment, Process Engineering and Water and Sewage Treatment providing solutions to customers within the Industrial, Municipal Water and Municipal Waste Water Industries.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• A tertiary qualification such as a BSC or HND in either Engineering Mechanical or Civil or Environmental or Construction Management, or equivalent Project or Construction Management experience is essential.
• Previous experience having worked as a Project Manager within the Water and Wastewater Process Engineering and related markets is preferred.
• The successful candidate must have excellent computer skills: Ms Word, Excel, Projects, AutoCAD, Inventor or Mathcad and other Windows application experience is essential.  
• The successful candidate must be dedicated to see a project through to completion, working well with others.
• The successful candidate should have strong Math, Trigonometry and Geometry skills.
• Must have strong communication skills, including; clear verbal communication, logical written communication, and ability to listen and integrate what was said, be detail oriented and well organized.
• Must have a F.E. licence.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For:

• Managing and overseeing multiple Section Projects spanning multiple Groups.
• Executing projects from Bid to Completion Certificate.
• Preparing costing for budget and firm proposals.
• Interacting with Design Engineer to ensure design meets Client expectations.
• Reviews Design drawings.
• Communicating with customers on Contractual and Financial issues.
• Managing and co-ordinating Internal and External resources to fulfil contractual project requirements.
• Creating and executing project work plans and revise appropriately to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Reviewing project estimates and preparing job control sheets.
• Reviewing Contract or Purchase Order Terms and negotiating them successfully with our customers.
• Approving detailed drawings.
• Lead contact with the customer in co-ordinating schedules, project requirements, shipments and special needs.
• Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities.
• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a Project and Scope.
• Reviewing deliverables prepared by team and suppliers before passing to the Client.
• Effectively applying our Methodology and enforces project standards.
• Tracking and reporting team hours and expenses on a monthly/weekly basis.
• Managing project budget.
• Determining appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and monitoring receivables for project.
• Understanding our pricing model and billing procedures.
• Inspecting, or providing for inspection of buyouts and main equipment.
• Understanding and comply with ISO procedures.
• Providing assistance to customers through the installation and start-up period.
• Understanding, checking and approving basic and intermediate project related calculations.
• Managing Vendor activities to support project objectives.
