SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Planner / Scheduler to join our client’s team on a project-based basis in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project and workshop schedules, coordinating activities across various departments, tracking resources and ensuring that key project milestones and deadlines are achieved. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years’ experience in planning and scheduling, with experience in steel fabrication, construction or mining being advantageous

POSITION INFO:
Develop, maintain and monitor project and workshop schedules. Coordinate activities across production, procurement, engineering, projects and other departments. Monitor progress against planned schedules and identify delays or potential risks. Track manpower, materials, equipment and other resources required to meet deadlines. Update schedules and provide accurate progress reports to management. Identify schedule deviations and assist with the development of recovery plans. Monitor project milestones, deliverables and critical deadlines. Attend planning and progress meetings. Maintain accurate planning records and documentation. Liaise with supervisors, project managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure activities remain on schedule.
