SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Project Sales Engineer for the Johannesburg Region. Immediate availability or Short-notice would be preferrable.

POSITION INFO:
Summary:
The candidate will be fundamental for external customer support, ensuring achievement of revenue growth objectives. Comfortable in receiving calls, working with key partners, generating sales interest, and closing sales deals.

Minimum Requirements Qualification and Experience

Matric
BEng, BSc, BTech Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering is preferrable
5 - 10 years’ experience within engineering and/or customer services environment
Good working knowledge of Fluid Power and/or mining equipment
Candidate must have own reliable transport

Responsibilities defined but not limited to the below

Developing and implementing business strategy in conjunction with management
Maintain and grow existing customers
On-board and develop new customers in consultation with the National Project Sales Manager
Provide technical and service support to customers
Provide technical support to regional sales representatives
Grow sales from customers assigned to you while maintaining ethical standards in accordance with company policies and ethics
Increase project quote intake and hit rate
Manage customer accounts
Assist engineering and design office with designs and systems layout
Grow sales to achieve or exceed monthly/annual targets
Visit new and existing customers with the aim of growing / sustain the business
Sales forecasting
Attend training courses
