Project / Site Manager

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a well-established company within the Electrical and Instrumentation industry, is seeking an experienced and driven Project / Site Manager to oversee multiple projects across Cape Town. The successful candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Afrikaans and English.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8–10 years’ experience in the Electrical and Instrumentation industry
• Minimum of 4–5 years' experience as a Site Manager or Contracts Manager
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
• Willing and able to travel regularly for site supervision and client meetings
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, and quality compliance standards

Skills Required:

• Strong project management and site coordination abilities
• Proven experience in claims formulation, negotiation, and project documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
• Strong planning, scheduling, and cost-control abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, with the ability to compile and manage detailed project reports

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute electrical and instrumentation projects from inception to completion
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project deadlines
• Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and progress reporting
• Prepare and manage project claims, variations, and correspondence
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations

Remuneration:

R30 000 - R45 000 Cost to Company
