SUMMARY:
Our client in the Public Sector has an opportunity available for a Project Specialist: Technology Transfer in the Pretoria area. This is a contract position for 3 months.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Matric ( NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in in Commerce/ Technology/ Science/ and or Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce or Engineering or in Commerce/ Technology/ Science/ and or Engineering as added advantage
4-6 years’ experience in the following: SMME development; Technology driven environment; Field of technology transfer and technology needs assessment; Assessment of viability and sustainability of small enterprises; Thorough understanding of science and technology sector
Valid South African Drivers Licence
Advanced Computer Literacy in MS Office

KPAs:

Assess small enterprises for the benefit of TTF
Develop business cases to adjudication panel
Administer the technology transfer fund nationally
Establish and maintain accurate database
Verification of supplied technology received at the client premises
Contribute to the review of TTF policy and processes
Conduct impact analysis on the technology intervention on
beneficiaries
Conduct TTF awareness workshops
