Property & Facilities Maintenance Controller / Liaison Officer

Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and management of multiple commercial properties. Conduct routine property inspections and identify preventative and reactive maintenance requirements. Coordinate and manage maintenance requests from tenants through to completion. Obtain contractor quotations, appoint service providers, and oversee maintenance and renovation projects. Liaise with contractors, cleaning, security, and other service providers to ensure quality workmanship and service delivery. Inspect completed work and approve projects for payment. Manage maintenance budgets, service contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations. Handle insurance claims from initiation through to settlement. Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and coordinate reinstatement requirements. Maintain contractor databases, maintenance records, and key registers. Assist with property viewings and ensure vacant premises are clean, maintained, and presentation ready. Perform general property administration, including credit checks and purchasing office supplies. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders. Participate in an after-hours emergency call-out roster.
