SUMMARY:
As the Proposals Engineer, you will be responsible for developing both the technical and commercial components of proposals. Your work will ensure full alignment between client specifications, internal capabilities, modular standards, and the organisation’s commercial strategy. You will play a central role in crafting high-quality submissions that reflect engineering excellence and strong commercial discipline.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Develop technical and commercial sections of FEED, EPS, and modular product bids.
Interpret client specifications, standards, and requirements, ensuring alignment with internal modular configurations and capabilities.
Produce clear solution descriptions, process narratives, scope breakdowns, deliverable lists, and technical assumptions.
Prepare modular layouts, diagrams, PFDs, GA visuals, and supporting technical documentation for proposals.
Collaborate closely with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Fabrication teams to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
Support multi-stage clarifications, technical Q&A, and responses to tender queries throughout the bid cycle.
Assist in compiling cost models and BOQs in coordination with the Bid & Proposals Lead and Estimating team.
Maintain consistency with modular engineering standards and leverage learnings from past projects.
Work with Marketing & Communications to elevate proposal visuals, storytelling, and technical graphics.
Contribute to continuous improvements, including template optimisation and content library development.

ð¥ Team Structure

This role does not include direct reports but requires strong cross-functional coordination.

ð¯ Ideal Candidate

Experience in proposals engineering, process engineering, or technical bid development in an EPC, modular plant, or engineering environment.
Strong technical writing, interpretation of specifications, and documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary technical teams.
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight tender deadlines.
