POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others, being mindful of how your actions or inactions may affect others
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety procedures and comply with policies and reasonable instructions in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
- Identify and report hazards, risks, injuries, illnesses, and incidents including near misses, and work collaboratively to eliminate or mitigate risks where reasonably practicable
- Consult with managers or health and safety representatives as appropriate to address workplace health and safety matters
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience- MA, MSc, PG Dip, DClin or similar qualification
- Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board and a current APC
- Membership of a professional body such as the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists or New Zealand Psychological Society
- Good general ACC operational, medical, and policy knowledge within the rehabilitation industry
- Entry-level proficiency in Word and Outlook
- Ability to adapt communication style to build rapport and credibility with a broad range of clients across different industries
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to produce relevant reports and resource material
- Ability to write succinctly and clearly
- Intermediate to advanced computing skills
- Current driver licence if applicable
Senior Psychologist Requirements- Five or more years of relevant clinical experience
Neuropsychologist Requirements- Qualified Clinical Psychologist with a minimum of three years’ experience in the rehabilitation field, including at least two years in neuropsychology
- Completion of a graduate or postgraduate university-based course or paper in clinical neuropsychology
