Pump Sales

Do you have 3 to 5 years pump sales experience? Experience with sourcing and stock management? Good customer/people skills and experience? Energetic and enthusiastic? And looking for a new opportunity? Then this position might be what you are looking for? An established company in the Boksburg area is looking for an experienced internal Pump Sales person

Responsibilities

• Answering customer calls with respect to new orders, sales, quotations, spares and queries
• Servicing of existing as well as new customers
• Responding to customer complaints where necessary
• Understanding of customer requirements and selection of pumps/pump sets as per the customer requirements
• Generation and mailing of quotes to customers
• Following up on customer quotations
• Ensuring that relevant spares, parts, pumps and related ancillaries are procured and ordered as per required customer orders
• Following up on the progress of customer orders
• Follow up with suppliers with respect to parts for customer orders
• Maintain and ensure sufficient stock levels for all pump build requirements
• Expediting of orders and invoicing of customers
• Ongoing Liaison with various company departments as may be needed with respect to product, builds, assembly, complaints
• Other relevant duties as may be required for the completion of tenders, quotations as well as customer interaction

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Relevant Tertiary/Pump/Trade qualification is essential
• MUST have 3 to 8 years Pump Sales experience – this is NOT Negotiable
• Previous pump sales and ancillary procurement experience
• Computer literate - MS Office
• 5 years’ experience with ERP system
• Good understanding of ISO 9001 system
• Good communication skills – Both verbal and written with all levels of staff and customers
• Valid driver’s license
• Salary is dependant on relevant skillset and industry experience
