Purchasing, Logistics and Stores Specialist

SUMMARY:
Are you a technically minded supply chain professional with strong leadership ability and a hands-on approach? We’re partnering with a well-established engineering and petrochemical business to appoint a Purchasing, Stores & Logistics Supervisor to join their operational team in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

THE OPPORTUNITY:
This role is ideal for a solutions-driven individual who understands the critical role of procurement, logistics and inventory control in supporting complex, fast-paced manufacturing projects. We're looking for a high-performing logistics and procurement professional to manage daily operations in purchasing, warehousing, and logistics. If you’re a natural problem solver with technical and industry knowledge, this role is for you.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee procurement, supplier relations, and stores staff
• Track materials and align with project needs and BOMs
• Drive warehouse efficiency, discipline, and quality standards
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams

• BTech or M Dip Tech in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing or technical role
• Understanding of petrochemical/engineering environments
• Valid driver’s license & MS Office proficiency
