SUMMARY:
Purchasing Manager required for the Operations department - Germiston.

POSITION INFO:

Critical Success Objectives:

Manage inventory control
Manage supplier relationships
Oversee company vehicles
Manage archiving process
Manage staff
Manage financial requirements for department
Provide customer service
Manage the SDM system administrator’s role

Qualifications:

Qualification in Procurement /Supply Chain or equivalent

Experience:

4-5 years management knowledge of Purchasing processes; creating of part numbers, costing, supplier lead times, managing order book and suppliers

Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers and people

Experience in collecting and analysing data

Strong leadership capabilities

Experience in managing and developing people

Able to use your own initiative and be pro active

Must be thorough and show attention to detail

Must have strong customer focus and service delivery orientation

Problem solving and solutions orientated

Excellent communication skills

Sound analytical, organising, interpersonal and negotiation skills
