A client in the real time data tracking industry in the heart of Johannesburg is looking for a Senior Python Developer with hardware integration experience to join their in office team

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology

Requirements:

7+ years development experience
Python development
Experience in hardware-software interfacing, communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, RS232 and RS485
Hardware Integration (Ethernet, Modbus, CAN Bus and MQTT

KPA’s:

Lead code reviews
Develop and maintain Python Applications for hardware integration
Ensure high performance and reliability when interfacing with MOXA IO devices and HikVision CCTV Systems
Engineer robust error handling and security protocols
